CRAFT*FOLK
ART & CRAFT EVENTS 2009
Welcome to our Craft*folk 2009 packed programme of events for genuine artists, crafters, food, wine and liqueur producers. If you wish to take part or visit our events the 2009 dates are listed below.
Events will be outdoors in 2.5m x 2.5m (8ft x8ft) canvas stalls. These units have a pitched roof, back and sides which can be used for additional display purposes. For Cardiff City Centre events, these units are supplied with lockable wooden doors and internal wooden panels so that goods can be left overnight.
The development of the Welsh Capital has now transformed it into an exciting new destination as one of the top10 shopping destinations in the UK.
This is our 17th Christmas hosting outdoor Art and Craft Festivals in the heart of the City of Cardiff and as the £675 million, St David’s 2 Shopping Centre will be open this autumn, we may have additional space for over 70 stalls.
These popular and established stalls will be filled with a rolling programme of participants over the six week Christmas period and you could be one of them, selling direct to the public or taking commissions. Christmas always begins early in Cardiff with the opening of the award winning Winter Wonderland and open air ice rink in November, with our own stalls trading right up until the 23 December.
We are always looking to promote genuine products with “diverse” and “added value” elements and this year we will be able to have an additional emphasis on food and drink stalls. If you are interested in participating with us at Christmas time or at any of the events listed below, please contact us for further information to ensure that you meet our participation criteria.
All events are individually priced and taster stalls may be available.
