Where a real passion for tradition sometimes comes with a modern twist!

Cardiff Summer Festival 2019
Cardiff City Centre: Pedestrian areas covering St John's Church area, Working Street and the Hayes
Saturday 3 to Sunday 18 August 2019
Trading hours:  10am to 5.30pm Monday to Saturday and 10am to 5pm on Sunday
In Craft*folK wooden stalls

Two shorter trading periods of eight days each are available subject to availability.  We also offer "taster" stalls, specifically designed to encourage new artists and crafts people to experience trading in the City Centre. It is also an ideal time to have a "test run," even if it is only for a few days, if you are interested in taking part in our Cardiff Christmas Market. Please contact us for our leaflet detailing costs or if you would like to discuss availability.

Sited in the heart of the City's trading area our wooden stalls house genuine artists and crafts people who are keeping traditional skills alive by producing and selling their own high quality work. Together with a selection of tempting food and drink stalls, art and craft demonstrations are always a welcome addition to add to the unique shopping experience.

Details of the exhibitors taking part can be viewed here closer to the start of the event.

Arts & Crafts in Mermaid Quay 2019
Friday 9 to Sunday 11 August
Trading Hours: 10am to 5.30pm
In Craft*folK red/white canvas stalls

Located amid all the bars and restaurants in the centre of the popular tourist spot in Mermaid Quay, Cardiff Bay, easily accessible by road and Water Taxi from the City Centre. Unfortunately, due to the extensive works being undertaken by Welsh Water we have been unable to run our June and July dates but are hopeful that our August event will take place. It is a great opportunity to showcase our exhibitors' eclectic handmade work within the historic Cardiff Bay.  Our red and white stalls will be highly visual from both land and water.   Electricity is not available at this event.

Spaces are limited so please contact us for details on how to apply to take part.

A full list of the exhibitors taking part with Craftfolk can be viewed here closer to the start of the event.

Please note that only art and craft exhibitors are permitted at this event.
